Jeremiah Garcia During a Q&A session at Wednesday night’s Bloc Party show in LA, KCRW’s Jason Bentley commented on the heavy instrumentation on the band’s new material and asked if they had entered their “metal phase.” Lead singer Kele Okereke answered by saying that it’s the band’s heaviest record to date, but that it’s also their most tender and heartfelt.
