Review: Step Outside – Grey Shack
When 'Beautiful Man', the album opener off Grey Shack 's debut Step Outside , goes from fluid hard rock into a sparse, reggae-style bridge, you might think you have something new or maybe "different" on your hands (at least new in terms of what we've reviewed recently). Unfortunately, that's the only section on the album packing a bit of a surprise. Everything else on the album is a mish-mash of of Grey Shack's clear influences - bands like Steely Dan, AC/DC, Extreme, Bon Jovi, Blind Melon, Jet and Thermal And A Quarter .
