Pussy Riot found guilty
Three members of Russian punk band Pussy Riot have been found guilty of hooliganism motivated by religious hatred in a Moscow court, following their performance in the city on February 21st. Judge Marina Syrova said the women had "crudely undermined social order" and ruled out any political aspect to the protest. Prosecutors are seeking a three year prison sentence.
