"Recorded at our apartment in Chicago, IL" reads the Bandcamp of Uh Bones - a trio that seems to embrace the DIY and lo-fi aesthetic. I say embrace because their latest release, a self-titled EP that dropped in June, is four rock solid tracks of scratchy, ramshackle rock 'n' roll. On it, the band draws on obvious American racket-making influences from the '60s like The Sonics or The Cramps with dollop of The Kink's brit-pop thrown in for good measure.
