I couldn't let an Animal Collective album go by without a longer consideration, so here are a few thoughts on Centipede Hz (pronounced "Centipede hurts" - says the middle guy in the human centipede). Centipede Hz is a sidestep for Animal Collective after the electronic pop overtones of Merriweather Post Pavillion .
