San Francisco is pack full of Rice-A-Roni, gay pride, and ambiguous, indie-pop bands like Deerhoof .  What kind of music is Deerhoof?  Nobody knows. To me it’s kind of like gentle, Japanese-American, Bjork.  It’s pretty radical.
