It’s easy to forget about how good the Raveonettes are. The number of bands compared to, and influenced by, JAMC is daunting, so I can see why music fans, bloggers and journalists could be weary or simply uninterested in that genre or style. But the Raveonettes can write songs, LOTS of really great pop songs. Observator , after about the seventeenth listen or so, is near-perfect.
