Arctic Monkeys are heading back to the States for a forthcoming U.S. tour. The band are set to kick off the jaunt on April 1 in Miami Beach, FL. Upon hearing The Secret Machines came out with a new track today I felt pretty much meh. Their more recent past material has left quite a bit to be desired. But I took a chance on "Like I Can" and that meh turned into a hearty yehhH!! It's a multi-layered song with an atmospheric dream-like quality complementing raspy, ranging vocals. There's nothing groundbreaking here, but it's certainly worthy of our attention, if simply for it's experimental yet catchy (hard to pull of that balance) nature.
