A quadruped of quality mixtapes for you to munch on right now, and right tasty snacks they are too: First up our boy Parker , who has managed to crack smiles from even the most hardcore Dubstep head with his Where's My Monkey bootleg, serves us a slice of what he's delivering to the clubs right now. An eclectic mix which matches up the likes of Nat King Cole , Lethal Bizzle and Subfocus with his own productions, bootlegs and [...]

I was in California this week and stumbled upon this van sitting near a vacuum repair shop. I fancy myself well-schooled in various conspiracy theories but I had no idea that Stephen King had anything to do with the CIA. This disturbing realization was mitigated by my trip to the Charles Schultz Museum . It featured an exhibit on the history of newspaper comics from way back. I saw a few old classics that were still in publication when I was a little kid and read the funnies. I was close to forgetting [...]

The Great thing about Bestival other than being a great festival, is that it's like what T in the Park is to Oxegen. Its a great indicator as to what acts will be arriving on EP's doorstep the week before. I love the set up of their website also. I really wish electricpicnic.ie would get it's act together with theirs. Another sick thing about Bestival was just how much good weather they got last year. I don't think i saw one picture with a clowd in it. It pissed all EP and then we went on [...]

The release of the 2009 Grammy nominations marked probably the last time the words "Grammys" and "relevant" were ever used in the same sentence. Remember when Radiohead's In Rainbows was up for Album of the Year? Or how Lil Wayne received eight nominations for Tha Carter III ? Yeah, that's not happening again. This year, the Grammys reverted back to their normal selves, favoring baby boomers for the rock categories, veteran heavyweights for the rap ones, and Beyoncé and Taylor Swift for pretty much everything else. Beyoncé led the night with six trophies, while T-Swizzy took home [...]

No real surprises to report. Beyoncé earned a bundle of Grammys. Lady Gaga delivered a rousing - and surprisingly uncontroversial - duet with Elton John . Taylor Swift also cleaned up, though her number with Stevie Nicks sounded a tad off (as did Slash's guitar solo during T-Pain's performance). Best prop goes to Best Comedy Album winner Steven Colbert , who pulled an iPad out of his jacket during his monologue. And kudos to Kings of Leon for admitting they were a tad drunk while accepting the Grammy [...]

This is it, folks. After five amazing seasons filled with countless characters, twists, love interests, and sci-fi mind benders, Lost fans finally get to answer those burning questions, put the harebrained theories to bed and close an important chapter in their TV viewing careers. [Image From the Coventry Blog ] Having watched Lost since the onset and obsessed over it with endless email debates - a topic that perhaps poses the only email subject line rival to that of Phish - my buddy Sean Lalley and I [...]

I stopped caring what the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences thinks a long time ago (see why here ), but this week a Billboard.com article picked winners in the four biggest Grammy categories -- Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best New Artist -- and while reading it today, I played along and took Billboard 's survey, making my own projections. I think Billboard is way off base because its predictions are based too much on the commercial impact of the nominees [...]
The awards for the 52nd Grammys will be handed out and broadcast live Jan. 31 on CBS. True to form, we've decided to take our hand at making some predictions in several key categories. Let us know in the comments below!) *** Record of the Year Beyoncé: "Halo" The Black Eyed Peas: "I Gotta Feeling" Kings Of Leon: "Use Somebody" Lady Gaga: " Poker Face" Taylor Swift: "You Belong With Me" [...]

NME recently published details about the upcoming Music Go Music album, Expressions (March 22 release date).
