Image From Here The Moog are a Budapest, Hungary quintet. Their follow up to the excellent '07 debut Sold For Tomorrow was recorded in Seattle and is titled Razzmatazz Orfeum . They are a hard playing band and put out a sound that is part Ramones, part Dinosaur Jr., with the fuzziness of Jesus & Mary Chain. A nice mix for sure. Snowglobe is from Memphis and so am I! I remember going to see this band way back in the day at the Young Ave Deli. Actually it is all thanks to my friend Alex who has always been a long supporter of Memphis music especially Lucero and Cory Branan. The abundance of psych/folk/pop bands emerging these days can be a little overwhelming/annoying/sickenin g. It's nice when one actually stands out and impresses - that's the case for me with Memphis' Snowglobe .
