Over time it has grown into a trio that includes Shannon Frid of Cloud Cult and Eric Carranza of Better Bones . The Melvins’ latest release Everybody Loves Sausages is an all-covers album that’s loaded with guest spots, but it thankfully lacks the self-congratulatory aura of similarly-themed veteran projects. Instead, it’s a fun, modestly scaled ride that also provides an enlightening look into the group’s outsized personality.
