Julianna Barwick has announced plans to follow-up 2011's 'The Magic Place' with a new album due out via Dead Oceans in August titled 'Nepenthe'. Alex Somers - who you might be familiar with via his work with Jonsi from Sigur Ros on Riceboy Sleeps - recorded the LP in Reykjavík, Iceland. Sigur Ros ' staple string collaborators Amiina feature on the album, alongside various other guests based out in Scandinavia.
