So, Ben Chasny, of Comets on Fire and Six Organs of Admittance, has teamed up with Magik Markers' Elisa Ambrogio. Given the corrosive tendencies of their other bands (this is strictly not a side-project from anything else), you might be expecting fireworks, or at least the sturdy drone-work of their previous collaboration as Balsa Fingers. Forse il disco più completo della creatura di Ben Chasny ( Comets of Fire ), fingerpicking selvaggio, raga indiani, bellissime ballad notturne, arrangiamenti di archi leziosi e pop e tanto ammmore spedito nel cosmo oscuro sotto forma di spirali cosmiche di suoni. It's been almost five years since the last time I caught Six Organs of Admittance . In 2006, Sir Ben Chasny toured with a raucous trio hailing cash cabs and Satan in one fell swoop.
