This is the first I've heard from DJ Shares who resides in Denver/Boulder CO. This isn't by any means the slickest or surprising remix in the world, but for once I think you can judge a song by it's title. Benefit albums and Tom Waits both seem to really "in" these days. Recently, the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band decided to combine the best of both worlds and create the incredibly down-to-business titled Preservation, an Album Benefiting Preservation Hall and Its Music Outreach Program . Monsters Of Folk, the new super-group between Conor Oberst, M. Ward and Jim James have unleashed a new video to the world for their self-titled début track 'Say Please'. Dressed as soldiers, the three band members come upon a town where there just so happens to be a certain band beginning; themselves.
This past Halloween I was tipped off by Justin that there was going to be a Black Keys show in Akron this month. Like many, I'm a big fan, so I try to make their shows whenever possible.
