I'm not quite sure what to make of this track from Blitzen Trapper's upcoming EP, to be released on August 25th. And the music video? It has its odd moments, though these are nothing compared to the music video released for Jose Gonzales' "Killing for Love" last year (so creepy!). I'm glad Blitzen Trapper is making new music, but I'm not sure I'll be chilling out with the EP on my drive to Ohio like I did with Wild Mountain Nation . Furr , though, will probably make the cut. As regular readers can probably attest to, we focus on the folk, hip-hop, alt-country and noise scenes here in Halifax. I've just finished watching Karim 's latest video for the chilling " Triangle Walks ," that just premiered over at stereogum , at the end of which is hard for anyone not visually impaired not to sit back for a few good seconds and gasp "WOW!" The video just hits you from the very few frames - beautifully dark-blue lights, ambiental chills and Karim Andersson's elusive appearances make it a creepy, yet, at the same time, a surreal experience. Little Dragon is an electro-pop band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Their second album Machine Dreams is supposedly out Oct. 20 but it's on Rhapsody now so maybe not?
