Richmond indie-experimental-pop-rock band Marionette finally have a new album in their hands ready to be released to us eager fans. The CD release was originally supposed to be at their last show at Poe's Pub, however, the band had some delays with the duplicator and shipping. Now the official release for "Facing You" will be this Saturday, Nov. 21 at Sound of Music Studios. They'll be playing with Maki (ex-Sparklehorse) and Ki:Theory (Remix masters of Ladytron, Queens of the Stone Age, Brazilian Girls and more, plus their original glitchy pop). [...]

Ladytron have announced plans to release a ' Best Of ' collection album later next year to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. Ladytron 's Reuben Wu recently spoke to Spinner.co.uk about the forthcoming ' Best Of ' album. "We've got some ideas about what we want to do about the next album, but I think first we're going to release a ' Best of Ladytron '," said Wu . Electronic Liverpudlian's Ladytron have spoken out about their recent plans to release a 'Best Of' album in the near future. Ladytron member Reuben Wu recently sat down Spinner magazine and opened up about a number of things including their recent work with American-pop princess Christina Aguilera, touring the world and a planned Greatest Hits from the band, complete with some interesting artwork that can currently be seen throughout the groups live shows.
Apparently 4 albums definitely qualifies you for one of these now…

It hasn't really been that long since we told you about San Francisco's Kite in the Air . But, they are already back with their second EP of the year, Magic Marker . This time the production is a little bit tighter, however, they are still rockin' it like Ladytron's poppy, non-maniacal kid sister. Emma Lucia's voice perfectly compliments the groups throbbing electronica sound. Never mind that it's 20 years since the Guardian launched Notes & Queries - can you believe that it's ten years since Ladytron first coalesced in what was (then) a Liverpool back street and is now probably the fridge aisle in the big new John Lewis? They're celebrating with an album collecting the best bits from the first decade. It's going to be a greatest hits collection, which suggests a reliance on natural justice rather than strict facts.
