Norman Wong Even though he coined it himself, I often wonder if Joel Gibb regrets encouraging the use of "gay church folk music" as a description for the music of The Hidden Cameras . Certainly they got a lot of mileage out of it in the band's earlier days, as it was both attention grabbing and accurate, but now, four albums in, it probably deserves to be retired. The Constantines have expanded their 10 year anniversary plans from two December gigs to a week of shows across Ontario. A few of the special guests for these shows have been confirmed so far, with Attack In Black joining the group on the 11th in Toronto and Oneida and Metz joining them the day after. The expanded tour now includes stops ranging from the Ottawa and Kingston down through London, including their former home of Guelph. Constantines 10th anniversary shows In celebration of the band's tenth anniversary, Constantines have added additional shows to the previously announced two-night stand at Lee's Palace in Toronto. The tour now includes shows in most major markets in Southern Ontario including Guelph, where it all began. As well, support for the two Toronto shows has been confirmed: Attack In Black will open the December 11 show, with New York's Oneida and Toronto's own Metz joining the party the following night.
