The verdict is still out whether the Carl-Rae-fronted Miami indie pop outfit Blonds is of the earnest, charming variety (TV Girl) or the trashy, superficial crap-pop variety (Sleigh Bells comes to mind), but "Kite" is a nod in the right direction: Doesn't this song have a whole grab bag of indie flavors-of-the-month?
