I've always enjoyed Minus The Bear , and the band has a new recording coming out in 2010. I'm not 100% sure that this track is to be on the new album or not, but it is good nonetheless. So the chorus in "Automatic" shares its melody with "Lump" by the Presidents of the United States of America, but they get a pass due to music being a bit of an infinite monkeys, infinite typewriters situation these days. The rest of the song is saturated with noise and sounds exhausting. Athen's Twin Tigers aren't playing the actual Festival in the park, but are making an appearance at one of the official Afterparties on Saturday night, and I highly recommend you make a stop to see the Tigers at work. The band has a full length recording Grey Waves, set for release in early 2010 and it's already secured a spot as one of my favorite releases for the year.
