With the new release of their Tour EP at Insound, Chicago's Apteka has been cooking up some good tunes. Thrashing guitars and Perry Farrell-esque vocals create the perfect storm for this four-piece. Their influences include everything from Bauhaus to Shellac—and it shows. Having SXSW 2009 under their belt has gotten the attention of many. Their track, "The Sheet" has been featured on the Future Sounds 27 compilation. They have also been played on New York's BreakThruRadio.
