Absolutely nothing, except that it now covers the week from Monday through Sunday rather than Sunday through Saturday. As we reported back in January , Bloomington, IL bar-rockers Backyard Tire Fire went into the studio with producer/member of Los Lobos Steve Berlin. The band announces that the new album will be called Good to Be and will be released on February 16th, 2010 on the band's own record label Kelsey Street Records, and will be distributed by Thirty Tigers/SonyRed . In the pantheon of country-infused indie rock Illinois' Backyard Tire Fire really don't get the recognition they deserve. Hopefully things are about to change as the band has announced the release of their new studio album, Good To Be. The record hits shelves February 16th. The Mother Hips have been one of the most underrated bands for years. After a brief stint on Rick Rubin's label, American Recordings, the Bay Area quartet has had a consistent output of California soul. Newcomers like The Donkeys seem to have been influenced by them. Ever since Roger Hoover and The Whiskeyhounds became The Magpies I've been pretty disappointed in the musical direction the band has taken.
