Charge Of The Light Brigade is the new project from Toronto musician Luke Sneyd. The quartet has just dropped their debut EP, We Haven't Been Properly Introduced. The songs on the EP are show a good sampling of indie rock influences. "Desdemona" features vocals with a nasal twang and backing vocals that form a solid hook. The Allman Brothers Band returned to the United Palace tonight for the sixth show on their eight-show March Madness run in New York City. Once again, the band invited some of their friends to play with them as Gregg Allman Band guitarist Scott Sharrard sat in on a smokin' You Don't Love Me to end the first set. Jay Leno will welcome Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers to his new NBC television show on September 17 along with guitar legend Eric Clapton to perform Space Is The Place, from Hornsby's forthcoming Verve release, Levitate. The highly anticipated Allman Brothers Band / Widespread Panic tour started with two shows chock full of sit-ins on Friday in Camden, NJ and on Saturday in Canandaigua, NY. On Friday, Widespread Panic's John Bell and Sunny Ortiz joined the Allmans for I Walk On Guilded Splinters, Trouble No More, Good Morning Little School Girl, and Revival.
