Last month when Phil Lesh announced a run of Phil & Friends shows near Denver , Dead fans couldn't help but wonder about the future of Furthur . Ever since Jerry died, Lesh has had a fondness for changing things up every few years and Furthur has already lasted just about as long as any other post-Dead project involving Lesh. Apparently those fears were for naught as Furthur has just announced a Spring Tour that starts on April 5 at the Wang in Boston and finishes on April 18 after eight shows at the Beacon Theatre in NYC.
