Por isso eles pediram ajuda e nós divulgamos aqui esse apelo. Olá, Nós somos os You Can't Win, Charlie Brown e vamos representar Portugal no festival SXSW 2012 [...]

Full of insanely tight, angular and catchy as all get out jams on their debut LP, San Diego-based The Beautiful View's, life is beautiful is an album ready for the masses. Next month, they'll bring the tracks from the album on the road with national tour dates including a run to this year's SXSW. Listening [...]

This is the night before Valentine's Day, so no excuses. The lineup Monday night is solid from top to bottom and a true honor to present next week. There's one more that C=T will be doing later this month, so keep posted. Young Pharaohs is the new vehicle that has risen from the ashes of King Mob to create a steamy R&B synth vibe that will have your pelvis moving from side to side to the sound of the beat. Ava Luna is on tour with Twin Sister and both are [...]

English duo The Big Pink released their second record Future This a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure what to expect from the group after their hit album A Brief History of Love . Would they be a one album wonder like Glasvegas or will they build on that album into something better? Luckily for us, the new record expands on the Big Pink sound and the result is a really good album. The album has surprisingly dropped some of the shoe-gaze/wall of sound elements that made their first album popular, and replaced it with [...]

If you've no clue what I've been up to since September, then you must have missed the perpetual flatulence that my JTTS colleagues have blown in my direction over the past few months. In that event I can only assure you that I was working on a project that's at least half as important as my duty here, which is primarily to remind one and all that any hip-hop recorded after 2001 is guilty until proven innocent. By now it's no secret that the shit-ass Frat Rap Tumblr is nominated for a Phoenix [...]
![[News] 1,2,3 Announce U.S. Tour Dates](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4049553_lg.jpg)
Underrated Pittsburgh rocker duo 1,2,3 have had an excellent year, having released their debut LP New Heaven last year and releasing the free EP Dreamland, Pt. 1 last month. Despite their fantastic releases, the pair haven't recevied as much attention as they deserve. But, with the announcement of a headlining U.S. tour, the Steel City rockers hope to change that. Starting on February 25th, the band will perform in 22 cities, including a performance at this year's SXSW. Take a look at all of their tour dates [...]

I've talked about Cleveland's Mr. Gnome in the past, including last year's fine work of an album, Madness In Miniature . Now they've announced the upcoming March 20th release of their new digital 73 Softly Mad featuring two b-sides from the Madness In Miniature sessions, "The Way" and "Still Life". If you're so inclined get acquainted with the album below and take the band in on their upcoming tour. Dates also below. Listen to a few tracks below "Ate The Sun" [...]

What good timing for The Throne to drop their visually bonkers live concert video for "Ni**as In Paris" today, as Kanye West and Jay-Z have been nominated for a Performing Woodie at the 2012 mtvU Woodie Awards. Elsewhere on the nominees list is Chris Brown and Rihanna, who compete against one another for the EDM Effect Woodie for their electro collaborations with Benny Benasi on "Beautiful People" and Calvin Harris on "We Found Love" , respectively. And it looks like college kids have got a soft spot for Lana Del Rey, as the nearly-chart-topping [...]

The Head and the Heart at Mellow Johnny's during SXSW 2011 photo by Jim Bennett The Head and the Heart have a new music video out for "Down in the Valley". The video features footage of the band on the road and playing at different venues. It's a quite endearing video to a beautiful song. Watch it below: Third Man Records founder and former White Stripes' guitarist Jack White recently announced the release of [...]

LA's Nite Jewel , aka. Ramon Gonzalez is set to release her debut album One Second of Love via Secretly Canadian on March 6th. You may have already heard her voice on the Italians Do It Better imprint! Listen to the latest offering from Ramona, which comes in the form of infectious, synth-laden single In The Dark. Her best track to date, we're hearing influences from Stevie Nicks / Fleetwood Mac on this one. We've also fallen in love with her cover of Stevie Wonder [...]
Big Deal is certainly one of the bands that excites me about 2012. They just dropped their debut record, Lights Out , and there is nothing but good buzz coming from the duo right now. Today, they have dropped their emotional video for "Talk", which is somehow so powerful, without any percussion used. The duo vocals bounce off each other, in a symmetric pattern, and fills the listeners with angst and frustration. (Mean that in the best way) The band will be playing SXSW, as well as their first NY and LA gigs. March 11th [...]

Today Cults will debut the long awaited video for their lovelorn track "You Know What I Mean" on NPR's All Songs Considered: http://www.npr.org/blogs/allso ngs/2012/02/08/146462475/the-d ark-romance-of-cults-you-know- what-i-mean The songs "quiet/loud dynamic that ramps up the drama with every chorus" (Pitchfork) was released in early 2010 and has become the band's crowd entrance point of no return. The video was directed by Isaiah Seret who also collaborated with the band for their controversial video for "Go Outside." And if you look closely, you may recognize a few familiar faces… [...]
