Talk about a sick 45rpm! I bought this record from one of my favorite dealers in PA, this guy even does house calls! The story behind this record is pretty sweet, the group, "Custer's Last Band" is original from Lancaster, PA and had a huge local following back in the early 70's. The 10 piece band wrote two of their own tunes that charted on Lancaster's WLAN Radio. Custer's Last Band featured 3 lead singers with horns and a classic Hammond B-3 organ. . They slowed down the original and looped it then stole the chorus. Ahhh yes Unlimited Touch, they always kill it! What a baseline on this track it's total murder. I decided to drop some knowledge for those who need a quick lesson on some Hip-Hop ish. When I saw Shawn Ryan post the "Affirmative Action Remix," my first thought was Juice Crew's "Symphony." This possibly may be the best posse cut ever. It was the first Hip-Hop track to make the Otis Redding sample "Hard To Handle" popular.
