Get Well Soon is the project of Konstantin Gropper , a weird guy who sings nice music. I don't like this second one one quite like his first album, but it's still good. It's a snow storm outside, and I'm warming up inside under a blanket, with Eluvium pouring out from my speakers. That was what I felt the first time I listened to them: warmth and cosiness. Similes is one of those few ambient albums which doesn't get lost at some point, and you forget it's playing somewhere in the background. One of the best bands in Romania, in my opinion. This is only their debut and it's excellent. A new album is set to be released next year. Also, they are absolutely amazing on stage. You can actually see it on their faces that they are there, in the middle of the music they play, living it note by note. High quality, mind fucking, instrumental stoner. I always found Kings of Leon 's music simple and catchy, in the most positive way, and the new album makes no difference. Caleb 's voice gets to me every time I listen to them; and I love it that the bass lines - just like on Only By the Night - are still very noticeable and addictive.
