Living In A World Of Trouble

Living In A World Of Trouble Lately I've been ripping some of my deeper 45s, like this one by Samson & Delilah The BOSS Six entitled "Living In A World Of Trouble". This funky piece of wax was recorded in Upper Darby, PA in 1974. Don't be fooled, it grooves hard and has a solid crunch to it. I noticed that this record is not listed on Samson & Delilah The BOSS Six' discogs page so that's pretty cool too. Enjoy By the way I have to shout out my 'ol head homie Ric Record for this one..Thanks! Samson & [...]

Michael Jackson Tribute Mix

Michael Jackson Tribute Mix We all know by now Michael "The King Of Pop" Jackson has passed away. I feel it is also fair to say we all loved his music since we were kids. I grew up on "Off The Wall", "Thriller", "Bad" and "Dangerous". Those albums have a special place in my musical heart, so I had to make this tribute mix to show my appreciation for the greatest recording artist ever, Michael Jackson. Where My Alcoholics At?

Where My Alcoholics At? I got this record when I was in 9th grade through mail order from B-more - damn I'm getting old. It's a great DJ tool I still drop when the party is hype by none other than DJ Boobie. If you don't know him check him out - he has a lot of bangers. Hope you Dollar bin Jammers have fun with this. The Symphony

the symphony-marley marl
I decided to drop some knowledge for those who need a quick lesson on some Hip-Hop ish. When I saw Shawn Ryan post the "Affirmative Action Remix," my first thought was Juice Crew's "Symphony." This possibly may be the best posse cut ever. It was the first Hip-Hop track to make the Otis Redding sample "Hard To Handle" popular. In addition, I also would like to drop my favorite version of "Affirmative Action" that I used to cut up everyday during blunted freestyle sessions. Enjoy and peep the OG Juice crew video! Funky Freshness

Funky Freshness "L E O" Part One and Part Two are both ridicules. They're explained on Discogs as New York funk with an Afican percussive bent. Umm, sounds right to me! This joint is pretty rare and let's say it didn't cost a dollar. Try to keep this on the low true Dollar Bin bloggers. West Street Mob

West Street Mob Electric Boogie is my jam! I have been playing this record since I was about 16 and have loved every minute of it. B-boys go crazy for it, and why not - it's only the most awesome remix of Apache by the Incredible Bongo Band ever (Okay, Switch killed it too). Recently I heard Billy play it at The Barbary and people went nuts, so don't forget to drop this sleeper every once in a while. Enjoy!
