It's the Valentine's Day edition of Friday on My Mind . The weekly collaborative effort between KEXP and King 5 News. Hailing from the mighty fine city of Wolverhampton (no bias here at all, honest) teamABC make hectic, enthusiastic indie-rock similar to that of Los Campesinos! or fellow-Midlanders Johnny Foreigner . Young the Giant are gearing up for a huge US tour starting in February to promote their self-titled debut album. Last night they hit Jimmy Kimmel's stage to perform, Cough Syrup and Apartments . A few of the staff are gearing up to see these guys at their sold-out show at Terminal 5. If these performances are any indication of their live shows, it should be a good time.

There is something magical about this time of year.
