Just in time for Christmas, Bela Koe-Krompecher issued the following note regarding Anyway Records 20th anniversary celebration: In celebration of 20 years of debt-making Anyway will host a two nights of shows at Ace Of Cups, December 21-22. Whether it's playing in bands like the Feelers , the Ex-Whites and sometimes with the New Bomb Turks or making punk shows happen at Bourbon Street or now the bar he helped open and manages Ace of Cups:  Shaulov has worked tirelessly promoting and making punk/garage music because he likes it. Milk Music's set at Ace of Cups  Wednesday had the Olympia, Washington band whose make public their love of SST records going further away from Black Flag and continued their journey down the Dinosaur Jr. path. They played songs from "Beyond Living" and also some new stuff. The aggressive attack of "Violence Now" is certainly a thing of the past. Milk Music's show was executed very well. Some people remarked that they thought they were watching someone perfectly perform a Dinosaur Jr. historical study. It wasn't fake though. [...]

Here's another one from Blues Control of the Drag City release Valley Tangents . According to The Quietus , director Clémence Hébert filmed this on the Danish island of Tunø in the Kattegat Sea. If you need a little nature in your life, or you're in bonfire withdrawal but can't get out of the office, this is a good substitute. And a good soundtrack. The Britt Daniel/Dan Boeckner/Sam Brown band Divine Fits just announced they'll play their third show (ever) at Ace of Cups in Columbus on Aug. 6. Columbus recently welcomed Kevin DeBroux back to town, which means his band Pink Reason is back, too, rejoined with Psychedelic Horseshit’s Matt Whitehurst and Rich Johnston, plus ex-TV Ghost bassist Shawn Beckering.
