watching the new pornographers live on pitchfork.tv reminded me of how much i missed their 2005 album twin cinema . one of my favorite moments in that record was what they were playing at that pitchfork festival - "the bleeding heart show", a song which begins mildly enough, only to meander its way to a glorious, hair-raising singalong. may this album find its way home to me someday. mp3: new pornographers - the bleeding heart show
