CHVRCHES cover the Game of Thrones theme song... why not?

Calm down, calm down. Phoenix's fifth studio album Bankrupt! will be released during the week of the 22nd April, and if their first single "Entertainment" is any indication, it'll be another gem. Here's a homemade version of their single to keep you tied over for a couple of weeks, featuring a pretty cute shiba inu.

Everything about this cover is amazing. The harmonies, guitar work, dynamics... god they have hit the mark alright. Hats off, Hungry Kids, great stuff.

The first of our Scenewave Sessions took place at the Waterloo Hotel in Newstead, featuring new Melbourne act Harts. St Lucia have performed "September" live in studio whist down under at the Sony Studios. Solid shows throughout the entire Parklife tour (and mind blowing sound) saw the guys from Brooklyn win over the aussie audience. This in studio performance doesn't disappoint!

Atlas Genius's Keith Jeffrey has taken on "Islands" by The XX and he's definitely given it his own amazing unique edge. A chilled out acoustic performance played at Crown City Studios in the US, these Australian lads are set for a massive 2013. This hauntingly beautiful acoustic version of Angels was shot while The xx visited Japan in July 2012. Angels is taken from The xx's new album Coexist which will be released in September.

Anisa is a 23 year old, half Persian and half French, Manchester born and raised singer-songwriter and musician. Today she released an acoustic video of her new single "Music" which features North London's Wretch 32. "Music" is the title track from Anisa's debut EP which will be released on 2nd July as a free download by Alwayz Recordings.

Ben Howard has done the impossible. He's turned one of the most annoyingly overplayed tracks from this year into a stripped back acoustic delight and it's undeniably enchanting. Maybe he'll bust this one out at Splendour in the Grass later on this year. Ben Howard performs a cover of Carly Rae Jepsen's track, Call Me Maybe in the Radio 1 Live Lounge.
