Almost a year to the day since Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch passed away from throat cancer, the MC will receive a permanent tribute in his hometown of Brooklyn: a park named in his honor. The former Palmetto Park, off State Street in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood, will be formally renamed to "Adam Yauch Park" today after a push by the Brooklyn Heights Blog gained traction on social media last year. Adam Nathaniel Yauch, conosciuto meglio con il nome d'arte di MCA, co-fondatore del trio hip-hop Beastie Boys , è morto nelle scorse ore.
