According to Pitchfork , (via The Hollywood Reporter ) the singer will star in his first film, the upcoming "Dallas Buyer's Club." The movie follows the true story of AIDS activist Ron Woodroof (played by Matthew McConaughey) who sought alternative treatment in the mid-1980s for his terminal illness.
