Alabama Shakes is potentially one of the coolest bands making a very splashy debut in 2012. They channel the dirty, gritty South, the vocals are charged and raw, and their sound itself is simple but intensely memorable. Reminiscent of The Walkmen’s album EVERYONE WHO PRETENDED TO LIKE US IS GONE, but simultaneously their very own special sound, Alabama Shakes is a foursome to keep your ears pricked for. Apesar de ser lançado só na semana que vem, já dá pra conferir o álbum completo do Alabama Shakes aqui . Além do álbum, eles liberaram o primeiro clipe de Boys & Girls . O vídeo de Hold On mostra a banda tocando o single em uma sala com pouca luz e sem plateia. O que não significa, de modo algum, que faltou intensidade no clipe. Aliás, é difícil não ser algo intenso quando é Brittany Howard cantando.
