Ahí, además de Justin Timberlake , se presentaron Alabama Shakes , Mavis Staples , Booker T. Jones ,  Booker T. Jones ,  Charlie Musselwhite ,   Sam Morre , entre otros. Alabama Shakes appeared on tonight's Christoph Waltz-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live as musical guest. The band put on a stellar performance of "Hold On" with lead singer Brittany Howard's powerful vocals in the spotlight. Alabama Shakes' debut album, Boys & Girls , is now available. After the "who we lost" montage at last night's Grammys detailing the many legendary musicians and music industry vets who passed away over the last 12 months, Mavis Staples, Mumford and Sons, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, Elton John, T-Bone Burnett and Zac Brown paid tribute to the last person listed in the montage, The Band drummer Levon Helm , by performing The Weight. It really seems like at this point Alabama Shakes can do no wrong. I mean all they need to do is hand Brittany a guitar and it is pretty certain that magic is going to happen shortly after. We've seen Alabama Shakes bring the house down in full-band, electric form live and on their studio debut,  Boys & Girls , but a stripped-down acoustic set from two members of the breakout group is a bit harder to come by. Alabama Shakes are fresh off their release of their debut album Boys and Girls, and are continuing to deliver from the album. The band recently debut their newest video for single "I Ain't The Same' which can be seen below. The video was directed by Jane Pollard, and features the band playing in London's Konk Studios.

It's been a minute since we've heard from the soulful rockers known as Alabama Shakes . As a reminder of why Boys & Girls was such an outstanding debut, here are the visuals for "I Ain't The Same" off of the album. Alabama Shakes ' new video for the Boys & Girls single "I Ain't the Same" keeps things simple, opting for footage of an in-studio performance. Directed by Jane Pollard , the video was shot the Ray Davies -owned Konk Studios, with the band putting their heart and soul into the intimate performance. Watch it above. One of the best parts of a live show is hearing the ways a band rearranges their songs for the stage. Slight kinks in the guitars and alterations to the rhythms can enhance the experience as well as give new life to a recorded track that's been played countless times on repeat.
