Porcelain Raft , the moniker of Mauro Remiddi, impressed with his debut album Strange Weekend , released in January of last year. He's since moved away from what he established on his debut, to record something completely different. Remiddi sold all of his equipment and used that money to buy a modular synth, which he has spent countless hours obsessively experimenting with. The result of these experiments is the instrumental Silent Speech EP . Spanning five tracks, the EP is full of atmosphere and dreamy instrumentation. Pretty damn good for a month's work.

Berlin Based / Canadian born Sheldon Thompson AKA Sid Le Rock has been wowing music lovers with his unique electronic fusion sound since first bursting on to the scene almost 10 years ago. Some are probably even more familiar with his monicker Pan/Tone. Going back to his Canadian roots, Sheldon has recorded a full album for Torontos (Canada's?) most famous label - My Favorite Robot. The 11 track album will hit the shelves and the DJ boxes on April 22nd.

The Three O'Clock mixed pure-pop sensibilities with psychedelic overtones and now the original band is getting back together for Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April. In addition, The Hidden World Revealed, comes on June 25, 2013 - it's a 20-track collection from the years 1981-1986.
Los Angeles-based duo Capital Cities announced yesterday that they will be releasing their debut LP, In a Tidal Wave of Mystery via Capitol Records on June 11 of this year. Founded by two jingle writers, who met via Craigslist, Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian will be previewing tracks on the road as they begin their first American outing (The Dancing With Strangers Tour) later this month.
