Song of the Day: Sara Lov – Animals (ft. Alex Brown Church) I saw Sara Lov open for Sea Wolf back in 2007. I haven't kept up since, but noticed she released a new CD in March, "Seasoned Eyes Were Beaming". Right now she is in the middle of a short west coast tour. She plays this Sunday, July 12, in San Francisco at Hotel Utah and next Wednesday, July 15, at the Sunset Tavern in Seattle. I'm excited about this tune, Animals, because it features Mr Sea Wolf, Alex Brown Church. It's just a simple acoustic guitar, and she's got a bit of Jenny Lewis-like twang which is off-putting at first. [...]

Sea Wolf to record new LP with Mike Mogis Indie cutie Alex Brown Church gave us a progress update on the new Sea Wolf LP this week. "We're heading to Omaha, NE at the end of April to record the next album! This time it's with producer, and Bright Eyes member, Mike Mogis. Mike's done lots of good records, with his band and many others, and we're excited to work with him. If all goes according to plan, the new album should be out in September!"
