Dead Ending , a new project from Vic Bondi ( Articles of Faith ), Derek Grant ( Alkaline Trio ), Joe Principe ( Rise Against ) and Jeff Dean ( The Bomb , have sent their debut EP out for mastering with an expected release through Alternative Tentacles Records this year. The band also entered the studio today to begin demoing 14 songs for what will presumably be their debut full length. The band has not released any music yet, but are promising some to be posted soon.

Straight off the master tapes, these demos promise to be better audio versions of songs later re-recorded for Voivod's debut album, "War and Pain." Jello Biafra and The Guantanamo School of Medicine has set a May 21, 2011 release date for their new EP, Enhanced Methods of Questioning . The EP, originally announced back in November , will boast five new tracks. Once out, Enhanced Methods of Questioning will follow up 2009's The Audacity of Hype .

Amebix are set to release their first new album in 24 years. The record is titled Sonic Mass and is due out September 20, 2011 via Alternative Tentacles Records (CD / digital) and Profane Existence (vinyl). The UK-based group reunited in 2008 and were one of the groups responsible for the crust punk movement that began in the 1980s.
