AMC released today a First Look photo from "The Walking Dead" Season 4, featuring Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes back to work on the set in Atlanta, GA. Season four of “The Walking Dead” returns to AMC in October of this year. The cast and crew began production on May 6. “The Walking Dead” is based on the comic book series created and written by Robert Kirkman and published by Skybound, Kirkman's imprint at Image Comics.

Larry Gilliard Jr., best known as D'Angelo Barksdale to fans of  The Wire , is set to join the fourth season of AMC's  The Walking Dead , according to reports. The 41-year old Gilliard will play the role of former-Army medic Roy Stark in season four and will have a regular role on the show. Breaking Bad‘s final episodes now have a premiere date and the program is getting a talk show. The bad news, we have to wait until August to watch them. The final eight episodes of AMC’s acclaimed meth-drama will get underway starting Sunday, Aug. 11, the network announced at its upfront presentation to advertisers on Wednesday. The episodes technically represent the second half of the fifth season of the show. AMC also announced its adding a post-episode chat show, Talking Bad.

With Breaking Bad's final eight episodes set to air this summer, AMC has to find a new series to fill the show's extremely large proverbial shoes. It appears that the network isn't looking too far either, as AMC and Sony have reportedly began developing a spinoff surrounding one of  Breaking Bad 's most popular characters, sleazy lawyer Saul Goodman. It's been a while since we've heard anything new from Delta Spirit, but this past week has been big for the group - releasing two music videos, one which for their brand new song.  "Running" was written specifically for the AMC drama "The Walking Dead" and honestly, it sounds like it would be a perfect fit. It's a slow moving arrangement, which suits the show perfectly. 

AMC’s upcoming cop drama  finally gives stupendous actors Mark Strong, Lennie James, and David Costible an avenue to show their talents. Strong and James play corrupt partners dealing with their bad deeds. The 10-episode series makes its debut on AMC this summer. Looks great. Will definitely watch. Hopefully, it's better than  The Killing.

AMC's critically acclaimed Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning drama, "Mad Men," is set to return next month for its sixth season. Today, AMC revealed a stylish poster design for the two-hour premiere. Preview its taxidermy show 'Immortalized' and the carny drama 'Freakshow.'

According to the Los Angeles Times , the new season will start with a two-hour movie on the second Sunday in April.  Details of the season were scarce, but we imagine Pete Campbell's punch-able face will be in full force.

Vince Gilligan has stayed fairly mum as he writes the final episodes to his AMC drama, Breaking Bad, but he did finally open up about the process of penning the show's ending in an interview published in Vulture today. "Sons of Anarchy" creator and known wildman Kurt Sutter has always been one of television's most outspoken showrunners, never being one to bite his tongue (uh, well,  off the screen anyways ) when he feels strongly about something. Sutter went on quite a Twitter rant on Friday after news broke that showrunner/executive producer Glen Mazzara departed from AMC's " The Walking Dead" , bashing the network and how they treat the people who create their shows and the audiences that watch them. If you read one baffling article about AMC's 'The Walking Dead' make this one in Salon , which argues the show suffers because "white men rule, minorities are invisible, and women are to be protected." I was prepared to refute some of the author's points and break it down, but, to a degree, yes, this is mostly true of the show. However, if you're complaining about real-world cultural issues while watching a show about surviving the zombie apocalypse, then ur doing it wrong , as the kids say these days.
