Aside being obsessed with this collaboration, I'm flat out obsessed with the song. It's a typical Gorillaz track in the form a fast and furious electro-punk tune, spiced up with Murphy's unmistakable wobbly singing and some furious verses from Andre 3000 . My favorite part of the song, which we can thank Converse for, is at the end of the track when someone starts asking "Can we get an Outkast album now? Can we get an Outkast album now?!" But seriously, can we get a new Outkast album now?!!

In anticipation of Converse releasing a Gorillaz-inspired shoe, the group's mastermind Damon Albarn hooked up with LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and OutKast's Andre 3000 for "DoYaThing" , and the jumpy, slightly schizophrenic but nonetheless delightful confection combines the best parts of all three unique artists. Converse is on fire with these random-ass collaborations that they've been putting together the past few years. Remember when KiD CuDi, the dude from Vampire Weekend and the girl from Best Coast got together for "All Summer"? Jam. Next, they paired Matt & Kim, Soulja Boy and Andrew W.K. for "I'm A Goner". Wow! This is nothing but awesome. Gorillaz, Andre 3000 and LCD Soundsystem main man James Murphy teamed up to create the track called "DoYaThing" and they did the damn thing! "DoYaThing", the Converse-fueled collaboration between Gorillaz, Andre 3000, and James Murphy, was premiered this afternoon on BBC Radio 1. Hear the replay below (via Listen Before Your Buy ). The track will be available to download from Converse's website beginning tomorrow. A music video for the track, created by Gorillaz's Jamie Hewlett, is also forthcoming. As previously reported, the collaboration is the latest installment of Converse’s  “Three Artists. One Song”  project. The track also coincides with the release of Gorillaz's  very own Converse line .
