An Education made great waves during this year's Sundance Film Festival. Critics swooned for newcomer Carey Mulligan's lead performance and instantly catapulted her into the Best Actress talk. The film, which was directed by Danish filmmaker Lone Scherfig from a script by Nick Hornby, is a coming-of-age story set in early-sixties-era London. It revolves around the blossoming relationship between Peter Sarsgaard and the ingenue Mulligan. Alfred Molina and Emma Thompson add a dash of the 'ole classiness as well.
