It's a sweltering, albeit laid-back, collaboration between Scottish singer-songwriter Angela McCluskey and production duo Christian Rich. They recently made some noise with their Neptunes-esque beat for Earl Sweatshirt 's " Chum " and here, they're showcasing their clearly versatile approach with a dubby backdrop. It's a fitting setting for McCluskey, who drifts over the production beautifully.

I have to admit, I am a little impartial to this song being that it and I share a name. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I spent the horrifying years of my childhood being followed around by bad renditions of The Rolling Stones' "Angie." While The Go Round is nothing like and will never be The Rolling Stones, they have created a mathematically perfect procession of percussion and melody aptly accompanied by dry melancholy lyrics.
