Animal Collective recently stopped by KEXP at the Cutting Room Studios NYC to promote their latest album Centipede Hz . In addition to an interview, the band played acoustic versions of album tracks "Wide Eyed" and "Pulleys", as well as "Honeycomb" off the 73 they released earlier this year. The recording highlight the songsmanship that may sometimes get lost in the eccentric production by the group and makes us want an entire acoustic album from the band.

Last week , Animal Collective surprised everyone with the release a couple of new tracks to be featured on a new 73. We now get the news that a full-length is being prepared for a scheduled release of September 4th through Domino Records . The band released a video naming all of the tracks on the album, titled CENTIPEDE Hz , that can be found below.
