ANIMAL COLLECTIVE MERRIWEATHER POST PAVILION (Domino Records) by Ryan Holladay of Bluebrain Ever since I heard Spirit in 2003, I knew Merriweather Post Pavilion was coming. They just kept getting better and better. Now they've crafted this, one of the best albums of the decade. Obviously if I'm getting that hyperbolic, they'd better be at the top of my year-end list as well. Runners-Up: Dirty Projectors and Bibio released fine, fine music this year.
