Animal Collective have announced details of a new remix EP set for a 28 May release, coming out through Domino Records. The release features this remix of  Centipede HZ track 'Monkey Riches', from Gang Gang Dance member Brian Degraw. Also on the 123 record will be reinterpretations by Traxman , New York dance producers Teengirl Fantasy and also a remix of 'New Town Burnout' by Seattle based group Shabazz Palaces . With his band's album cycle of Centipede Hz winding down, Animal Collective man Avey Tare is plotting a new side-project involving ex- Dirty Projectors  member  Angel Deradoorian  and former  Ponytail  drummer Jeremy Hyman. An experimental supergroup of sorts, the band are going by the name of  Slasher Flicks . Teaming up with  The Creator’s Project , Animal Collective have shared a series of phenomenally-shot and psychedelic-tinged live videos. Electronic musician Laurel Halo has announced that she'll tour Europe during April and May of this year. Among these dates is a show at London's XOYO on 25 April and a series of festival dates later that month. Animal Collective and Dan Deacon have announced joint tour dates scheduled for this coming March. The two acts, who both released albums on Domino in 2012, will embark on a 14-show stint touring the US. The pair will kick things off in Boston, before finishing up in Salt Lake City on 23 March. Animal Collective are set to premiere their forthcoming new album online this coming Sunday. The Baltimore group will air the upcoming  Centipede Hz on their own radio station  come 19 August, or at 2am on 20 August for UK listeners. The record sees physical release via Domino on 3 September. You can stream new single 'Today's Supernatural' here .

Animal Collective have announced details of the next episode of their weekly online radio show. Band member Deakin will host this week's edition, following on from Panda Bear who fronted last week's affair. Deakin will present guest DJ sets by Pantha du Prince , Turquoise Wisdom  and Doodcast . The live broadcasts will continue every Sunday night until 17 August, via this website .

Taking place late Sunday night (or early Monday morning in the UK), the band are to hijack the airwaves on  this very website . Animal Collective has unveiled what seems to be the album cover to forthcoming album Centipede Hz . They posted the above picture to Facebook late last night to, well, mixed reviews to say the least. Let's admit it: compared to  Merriweather Post Pavilion' s mind-bending sleeve art, it's pretty damn hideous. And we thought Muse had got caught up in their own warped fantasies ... one can only hope this is a joke. Animal Collective release Centipede Hz via  Domino  on 3 September.

Animal Collective  have announced they will play first of a series of UK live dates in London later this year. The group, set to release their tenth album Centipede Hz , will appear at London's Roundhouse on 4 November. The band's follow-up to 20092s Merriweather Post Pavilion is out 3 September, so expect a whole host of new tracks to be aired live.
