I'm pretty excited about this upcoming Daft Punk disc after having heard the line-up of collaborators ( Julian Casablancas , Chilly Gonzales , Panda Bear , et al.) and this snippet of Pharrell's addition to the mix. Not anything terribly brave or new, but my god is it goddamn catchy when Pharrell repeats, "we're up all night to get lucky." Enjoy.

Its crazy to think that its been 8 years since Daft Punk has released an album, this being 20052s "Human After All". Although its been that long, their music is still without a doubt relevant, and extremely popular. Now personally, I'm not usually one for electronic or dance music, but there's always been something about Daft Punk that has tickled my fancy. Its more than electronic dance music, it's got soul and funk, which truly separates Daft Punk from most electronic music. I fondly look back upon the gloopy, expressively organic electronica of earlier AnCo recordings – that which sticks it all together. The  Feels , and the  Strawberry Jam of their discography and in turn everything external to it – everything these albums have subsequently inspired. Set for May 10th - 12th at Pontins, Camber Sands, TV on the Radio's festival promises El-P, Thee Oh Sees, Shabazz Palaces, Spank Rock, Saul Williams, Tinariwen, and CSS. Taking place six weeks later (June 21st-23rd) also at Camber Sands, Deerhunter's festival features Atlas Sound, Panda Bear, Avey Tare, Animal Collective DJs, Dan Deacon, [...]
