After the release and record breaking success of  Random Access Memories , Daft Punk fans immediately began anticipating the rumored remix album - hopeful that top-level talent would be commissioned to rework the robots latest work of art. EDC Las Vegas ups the ante, plans to spend $35 million on this year’s festival

It's hard to fathom exactly what $35 million will buy you in festival production these days, but it's certainly no small sum. Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella told the  New York Post  that they'll be "stepping it up [ EDC Las Vegas ] year," and focusing the "largest percentage of [the] money [on] production" - a statement that falls right in line with Insomniac's priority to cater to the fans as "headliners" rather than superstar DJs. After experimenting with different sounds in their last EP  Hot Sauce , Zeds Dead  are back with another EP and this time they're giving it away for free. Disclosure announce twelve city American Fall tour

Fresh off the release of their well received album Settle , the Disclosure duo have plans to return to the US with a twelve stop coast-to-coast tour. Things are set to kicks off in early October at Showbox Market in Seattle, and will make their way east over the course of the month, concluding at Union Theater in Philadelphia. T. Supreme Court backs Albany’s decision to ban dance parties at The Armory

After being host to countless events including the Winter White tour with David Guetta, city officials in Albany, New York have recently moved to ban dance music events from being held at The Washington Avenue Armory, the 15,000 square foot auditorium that served as Upstate New York's EDM mecca.
