Busdriver is a weirdly talented while also being just straight up weird. On "Me-Time," his flo is in overdrive and channels a crazed stream of consciousness that touches on everything from the credit crunch to aliens. Though difficult to keep up with him, Busdriver's ability to shift tempo gears is remarkable and this track showcases it very well.

One of the my most memorable concerts was seeing Tim Fite in Boston in 2005 opening for Iron & Wine and Calexico. Fite has uncanny strange presence and engages crowds through bizarre bits of video accompaniment and storytelling in between songs. The majority of the crowd wasn't there to see the relatively unknown artist, but most of us left with his debut album in hand. It's hard to categorize Fite, who has done everything from folk to hip-hop, but underneath it all is surprisingly powerful songwriting. Rolling Stone reports that Bob Mould will be hitting the road in early 2012. The nontraditional tour will feature Mould in a variety different ways as he performs his solo music, reads from his new autobiography , performs as a solo DJ, and appears in his DJ duo Blowoff (with Rich Morel). UK hardcore alumnus and singer songwriter Frank Turner has reported, via his Facebook status , that none other than Billy Bragg will be supporting him at London's Wembley Arena , on the 13th of April, 2012. Tom Waits has posted the video for "Satisfied" from his 2011 Anti- Records release, Bad As Me . Waits describes the song as " an evangelical litany of life affirmation ."The video, directed by Jesse Dylan, is a stripped down B&W backyard dance with Waits singing the track.

Here's a very direct, no-nonsense dealing directed by Bob's son Jesse Dylan and starring Tom Waits himself. This is the very first official flick from Waits' newest album Bad As Me , and was released first thing this morning. In a simple but effective black and white tone, Waits cavorts expertly around a carnival scenario in his recognized salesman-under-a-street-lamp stance.
