Written, produced and performed by the fantastically named Raleigh Moncrief, Watered Lawn is an ambitious debut album that's sprawling in its variety. With no conventional flow and each track sounding different from the next, the Californian producer meshes styles and complex electronic arrangements to create a dense, rambling narrative. WHY? Have canceled a tour that was set to start this week after singer Yoni Wolf injured both hands. He and fellow band member Josiah Wolf released this video, saying that some dates may remain, including Chicago on October 15 and a European tour afterward. The band was scheduled to perform acoustic sets with fellow anticon artist Serengeti opening. No word on the damages, but perhaps it was the result of one of the band's brawls. Raleigh Moncrief , Anticon 's latest signee, just saw the prettiest girl that he has ever seen, and he wants you to know about it. It's been a couple years since WHY's Eskimo Snow was released. It was the band's first attempt at steering away from their well-known 'rap' influence and into a more rock/pop style.
