Nabil has become the go-to director for hip-hop artists, like Kanye West and Frank Ocean, but not one to be pigeon-holed, his latest video is an elegant, unsettling piece for baroque pop collective Antony and the Johnsons . There's a sense of dread in the video from the first frames (you don't cast Willem Dafoe to just play an affable businessman), but the clip unfolds in some very unexpected ways as it reaches it's stunning conclusion. It's one that probably won't leave your mind for a few days at least.

Today Pitchfork premiered the video for "Cut The World," the title track off Antony and the Johnsons ' upcoming live symphonic album. Originally written for the theatre production "The Life And Death of Marina Abramovic," "Cut The World" now gets the music video treatment courtesy of director NABIL (Kanye West, Bon Iver, Frank Ocean). This dark, rather literal interpretation of the song title features chilling performances from a murderous Carice Van Houten (Game Of Thrones) and an unsuspecting Willem Dafoe.
